Next concert on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine

Canterbury Choral Society will present its next concert, the season’s conclusion, to be performed at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on Amsterdam and 112th Street in New York City, in celebration of the restoration of the church and organ after the Cathedral’s terrible fire in December, 2001.  The music for the concert, will include some of the great anthems of all time: Handel’s Zadok the Priest, the Te Deum by Vaughan Williams and selections from Bach, Brahms, Parry, Balfour Gardiner, Coke-Jephcott, and Randall Thompson.

We look forward to the opportunity to conclude our season in this magnificent cathedral, and hope that our supporters and friends will join us for this event.
