New York City native Max Parsons is a versatile singer equally at home in art song, opera, and choral music. Recent professional engagements include performances with Musica Sacra, Bard Festival Choir, The Fifth Avenue Choir at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas Church, and Franklin Chamber Choir.
Max attended the University of Texas, where he performed alongside Austin Baroque Orchestra and Austin Opera; as well as at the UT Butler School of Music. Additionally an accomplished pianist and music educator, Max teaches music at Manhattan Country School and is a freelance music director and accompanist.
Max is singing the roles of Peter and Pilate in today’s performance.
